Prototype Demo

This week we were able to present our WriSet project’s demos – XD wire-frames demo and technological development demo (using teachable machine platform).

The demo presentation went well and beyond expected. And the responses we received from the teaching staff showed us we are in the right direction. Lack of computer science students are no excuse to do a great job and create a working prototype.

We managed to decide this week to focus on the therapist’s wire-frames, and to bind from the user testing the specific quotes that influenced our decisions of designing those wire-frames. With this, we are adjusting those wire-frames and creating an updated version to this week.

This week we spoke again with Tomer, a physiotherapist from Haifa to find out if calibration physiotherapy exercises WriSet should be done personally and coordinated with each patient. Tomer told us that the patient should not be part of the exercises calibration to WriSet, it is okay and even necessary for the physical therapist to calibrate the exercises alone because he is the professional. Of course the therapist knows how much the patient should move and extant his wrist and therefore calibrates the exercises according to the patient.

After we talked with Michal, we are on the path of starting to think on the physical product “WriSet”, as we know its properties and what and how we want to do it. With each insight that we will come by we will update wriSet and make changes.

We also need to think of how to add “Trackers” to our prototype to help the patients to make a better practice using WriSet and that the webcam will detect the WriSet more accurately.

In addition, we start to think on our video production idea which we would like to make to our prototype.

Each of us is continuing to make progress on his/ her seminar.
